A Lifetime of Greater Confidence in Just 6 Weeks!

Private performance anxiety coaching

Have an important performance, tryout, or other high-stakes event coming up soon? Ask about an intensive front-end option that concentrates more of the coaching and preparation before your performance date.

Perform at your best when the stakes are high & the pressure’s on

A six-week, one-to-one coaching engagement for musicians, actors, dancers, singers, and other performers whose confidence abandons them when the pressure is on, despite their talent, skill, and preparation.

Together, we’ll identify the specific moments when anxiety undermines your performance, build a personalized plan around the READ method, and practice applying it to real performance challenges.

Who this is for

You know your craft. Don’t let Performance Anxiety undermine it.

Private coaching is designed for those who can’t afford to let anxiety keep them from performing at their best when the stakes are high.

It’s a good fit if you’re preparing for an audition, recital, opening night, jury, competition, casting call, or another high-stakes moment, or if the same pattern keeps returning despite thorough preparation.

A practical coaching relationship

This is performance coaching, not therapy or technical instruction in your discipline.

The goal isn’t zero nerves. It is a more workable performance, with your attention available for the music, role, movement, or story that matters to you.

The heart of our work

READ for the moments that matter.

READ stands for Remember, Engage, Accept, and Detach. We’ll apply it to the situations in which nerves are most likely to pull your attention away from performing.

RememberConnect with the core values that give you courage and commitment in the face of anxiety.
EngagePerform wholeheartedly instead of getting caught up in your nerves.
AcceptMake room for the thoughts, emotions, and sensations that disturb your concentration instead of playing thought whack-a-mole.
DetachEnjoy the release that comes as the struggle with your nervousness recedes, opening the way to authentic presence and confidence.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about private coaching

How is private coaching different from the Perform with Confidence course?

The course teaches the complete READ method at your own pace. Private coaching applies that method to your specific performance patterns, upcoming situations, and pressure points. You receive individualized practice, feedback, and support. Lifetime access to the course is included.

What happens during the coaching sessions?

We begin by identifying what happens when pressure rises and where your attention tends to go. Then we apply Remember, Engage, Accept, and Detach to real auditions, rehearsals, and performances, practice those moments, and develop a plan you can use between sessions.

Do I need an upcoming audition or performance?

No. Coaching can help with a specific audition, recital, opening night, jury, competition, casting call, or other high-stakes performance. It can also address a recurring pattern that appears whenever you perform under pressure.

What if my performance is coming up soon?

Tell us the date when you request a consultation. If the complete six-week engagement is a good fit but your performance is approaching quickly, we can discuss an intensive front-end schedule that concentrates coaching and preparation before the date.

Will coaching make my nervousness disappear?

That’s not the goal, and I cannot promise that you’ll never feel nervous. The goal is to make anxiety more workable so that your attention remains available for the music, role, movement, or story that matters to you.

Is this therapy or technical instruction?

No. This is performance coaching. It does not diagnose or treat a mental-health condition, and it isn’t instruction in instrumental, vocal, acting, or dance technique. The focus is learning to work effectively with Performance Anxiety using the READ method.

What if I’d like extended or ongoing coaching?

Extended coaching is available after your initial engagement. Depending on your goals, we can arrange periodic sessions to deepen your use of READ, prepare for upcoming high-stakes speaking situations, and reinforce what works best for you. Ask us about options and availability.

What does the $2,497 investment include?

The investment covers the complete six-week engagement: an assessment and coaching plan, four private coaching sessions, a pre-performance session, a personalized READ practice plan, feedback on one recording, SOS Panic Button access, and lifetime access to the Perform with Confidence course.

What happens after I request a consultation?

You’ll answer a few short questions about what you are preparing for, what happens under pressure, and your timing. I’ll reply within one to two business days to arrange a short, no-pressure conversation about whether coaching is the right fit.

Is private coaching the right fit?

A short, no-pressure conversation is the next step. Tell us what you are preparing for, what happens under pressure, and your approximate timing.
